We had an amazing visit to Greenock with our children, and Silver Tides House provided the perfect accommodation for our family. The spacious house gave us all the room we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The views of the Clyde River from the house were simply breathtaking, creating a magical atmosphere that added to the charm of our stay. we found the staff to be extremely prompt and helpful, ensuring that all our queries were answered promptly. The availability of a travel cot for our youngest was a great convenience, making our stay comfortable and hassle-free. The guide book provided in the house was also a wonderful touch and helped us explore the area with ease.
My children wished there was a safety gate for the stairs, as our one-year-old was constantly trying to venture down and could have had an accident. For families with young children, I would highly recommend the addition of optional safety gates as a precautionary measure to enhance the overall safety of the property.

Clean and decent property with very good decor. Extremely comfortable beds and fluffy towels. Plenty of wardrobe space. Stunning view of Clyde. Host Elaine was kind and accommodating. Conveniently located near a 24/7 giant Tesco. Well-equipped house on a hill with great views. Easy access to Glasgow by train. Free and easy parking at the house and Port Glasgow Station. Commanding view and green surroundings at the rear. Great value for money. Lovely hosts and easy access to shops and amenities nearby. Ideal for exploring the area.
Felt very welcome, nothing was too much trouble.

I recently stayed at Silver Tides House in Greenock during a transit on my travels. The location was incredibly convenient, with the nearest airport being only 14.6 miles away. This made it easy for me to catch my connecting flight without any hassle.
It appeared a bit dirty and in need of some maintenance.

The location was perfect for exploring the area and the views from the windows were incredible. The apartment was well-equipped and had everything we needed, especially with kids. We appreciated the provided clean linen and towels, as well as the household items like kettle, iron, vac, hairdryer. The free Wi-Fi access was a bonus. The local shops were within walking distance and the parking was convenient. it was a comfortable and value-for-money stay. We can't wait to come back with our family in the summer to enjoy Loch Lomond.
Nothing that I didn't like. 😊

The Silver Tides House in Greenock was an absolute gem! The apartment had a beautiful tile/marble floor that made it feel so luxurious. I couldn't help but feel like a fancy guest in a fancy hotel. It just had that extra touch of class.
I have to admit that the tile/marble floor did make me a little nervous that I might slip. But hey, that might just be me being a klutz.

Pros of Silver Tides House: We had a wonderful stay at Silver Tides House. The house itself was spacious and clean, with plenty of room for our family. The views from the windows were stunning, and we loved waking up to such a beautiful sight. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and there were shops and amenities nearby. The parking was also convenient, and the clear instructions from the host made it easy to access the house. The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had fluffy towels provided. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the thin duvet and lack of safety gates for the stairs, we were still able to enjoy our time at Silver Tides House. we would highly recommend this accommodation for a comfortable and convenient family stay.
